Welcome: The photos on this site span nearly twenty years of my photographic wanderings and adventures. From the digiscoped Great Grey Owls and Peregrine chicks in their aerie, to the more recent adult male Harriers and Short-eared owls, photographed with a Canon EF 300 f/2.8 lens, I have sought out opportunities that have challenged my abilities and developing skills. Most photos were shot in "raw" and have had relatively small amounts of processing.
From my kayak, on spectacular Florida lakes, I have photographed Snail Kite and Osprey. From precarious cliffs I have photographed nesting falcons. Yellowstone National Park has been a particularly favorite and productive destination.
Up until the development of this site, I have rarely shared my photographs outside my immediate family. It has been with their encouragement and support that I have now made these photos available to you. I sincerely hope that you will find enjoyment, insight and perhaps even refuge in some of these images. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and hope that you might contact me with suggestions, advice, and perhaps most importantly, with a critical eye.
